The Sony Music/Pace partnership entertainment group has beengranted receivership of the troubled Alpine Valley Theatre in EastTroy, Wis.
Last November, Wisconsin Resorts Inc., which holds AlpineValley's mortgage, filed for foreclosure on the property, whichopened as an outdoor music theater in 1977. A Walworth Countydistrict court appointed Sony/Pace as leasee for this season.
This season's talent announcements will be made later this monthand Sony/Pace aims to present its first show at Alpine Valley betweenMemorial Day and early June.
